adds fan-cooled 440 race sled |

Polaris has added the fan-cooled Indy EDGE 440 XCF SP racing snowmobile
to its 2000 lineup. The chassis is nearly identical to the liquid-cooled
Indy EDGE 440 XC SP. The sled features a 438cc fan-cooled engine, two 34mm
Mikuni aluminum carbs, and 13.9 inches of rear suspension travel. Estimated
cost is $4999.

Cruiser names V92C top bike |

Motorcycle Cruiser magazine has named the victory V92C its "Cruiser
of the Year" for the second year in a row. The editors unanimously voted
to give the Victory top honors over other foreign and domestic heavyweight
bikes.

Car and Driver has reviewed
the all-new 2000 Suburban from General Motors. It has been redesigned to
compete with the larger Ford Expedition. The Suburban features link-coil
suspension and a either a 5.3 or 6.0 liter V-8.

Man Show episodes |
Wednesday, November 3
New episodes of the Man Show premiere tonight on Comedy Central. With
its Juggy Dance Squad and girls on trampolines, the Man Show was originally
developed for ABC, but the network dropped it because it was too offensive.
The show airs at 10:30, eastern time.

| Chrysler
eliminates Plymouth |
Thursday, November 3
DaimlerChrysler officially announced that it is eliminating the Plymouth
brand at the end of the 2001 model year. Plymouth was created in 1928 by
Chrysler to compete in the low-cost car market. The brand has suffered
from sluggish sales for several years and, except for the Prowler, every
Plymouth model has a Dodge or Chrysler twin. Chrysler recently unveiled
a new version of the Prowler, called the Howler, and industry experts predict
that the Prowler may live on under a different brand.

Redline Snowmobiles, a subsidiary of TMAG Industries, has laucnhed
a web site to showcase their new models. The company is the only current
producer of four-stroke snowmobile engines, partly designed to head off
complaints about snowmobile pollution. They also produce the 1300cc Revolt,
which produces over 200 HP.

Friday, November 5
Ford unveiled the Mustang FR500 at the Specialty Equipment Market Association
(SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. The car, described as the ultimate Mustang, was
designed to showcase possible after-maket performance parts. The car produces
415 HP and has a top speed of 175 MPH. Designed to match the Corvette,
Ford hinted that, given enough demand, there may even be a limited production
run of the Mustang FR500.

edition Prowler |
Monday, November 8
DaimlerChrysler unvield the "Woodward Edition" Prowler at the Specialty
Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. The limited-edition
car will be the first two-tone Prowler, featuring black over red. Production
will be limited to just 150 cars, and they are expected to arrive in dealerships
in February of 2000.

Polaris has announced the new Xpedition 325 ATV. The 325 features a
5-speed manual transmission and air-cooled engine. Polaris has also announced
a new color option for their Sportsman 500 ATV. The Sportsman, already
available in red and green, will now be available in a limited-edition
yellow.

Bottom specialty brew for Veteran's Day |
Wednesday, November 10
The Rock Bottom Restaurant & Brewery is releasing a specialty beer
in honor of Veteran's Day. The Black Horse Porter is named in honor of
the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment, nicknamed the Black Horse. A portion
of the proceeds from the beer will go to the 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment's
scholarship foundation.

Porsche is releasing a limited edition of the 911 for the millennium.
The
car features four-wheel drive, leather interior with maple trim, and nearly
every option available for the 911. The car also has a special paint finish
where the color changes depending upon the light.

According to the Motorcycle Industry Council, new motorcycle sales
are up 25% over last year. Used bike, aftermarket, and apparel sales are
also up. The MIC reports that the typical owner is male, in his late 30s,
and earns over $40,000 per year.

| Supreme
court considers nude dancing |
Friday, November 12
A case involving nude dancing at a strip club is being considered by
the US Supreme Court. In 1991 the Court ruled that nude dancing is protected
under the First Amendment, but can be banned by a law forbidding all public
nudity. The Pennsylvania law currently under review bans only adult entertainment
and may be unconstitutional. The case should be decided in June.

Harley-Davidson has expanded their website to include an online store.
While the product catalog in online, currently people are not able to make
purchases online. Harley-Davidson plans to have online sales next year.

new engines and transmissions |

Popular Mechanics has
a report on General Motor's new engines and transmissions. Included in
the report are a new 8.1-liter V8 and a series of modular inline engines.
A new low-cost semi-automatic transmission is in the works. It is similar
to the Porsche Tiptronic system, where the driver manually selects the
gears, but does not need to use a clutch pedal. Finally, GM is working
on a variable displacement engine. The engine will switch from a V8 to
a V4 in order to save fuel.

Indy EDGE 600 XC SP |

Polaris announced that it will begin a limited build of the new Indy
EDGE 600 XC SP snowmobile. This will be the first consumer sled based on
the EDGE racing chassis. The EDGE chassis has over 300 fewer parts than
a conventional chassis, reducing its weight by ten pounds. Suggested retail
price is $6699.

LS is Motor Trend's Car of the Year |

Motor Trend has announced that the Lincoln LS is their Car of the Year
for 2000. Motor Trend praises the car as the "first American sports/luxury
car that really competes with Europe and Japan." The LS is available with
either a 210 HP V-6 or a 252 HP V-8. The car starts at $30,915.
