They just want to pick on two groups- young kids and truck drivers with jake brakes. Maybe they should go after Mother Nature for the thunder sounds during lighting storms. Also will they confisicate the PA system of the high school football game if I can hear it from my house? The idea being that the government cannot just take stuff from you without a trial proving your guilt. Although I'm pretty sure they didn't think any part of this law through very much. How does an officer remove a stereo on a first offense? Grab a pry bar and smash the dashboard of the car? I'd guess the city may open itself up to some lawsuits with that. My solution is just to have a stereo that is louder than the kids. Eight-hundred watts of Johnny Cash!
