Y.A. Tittle Famous Photo |
Compared to most of the other injuries on this site, Y.A. Tittle's photo is relatively tame. No extremities pointing in the wrong directing. No bones sticking out. But the Y.A. Tittle photo is perhaps one of the greatest sports photos of all time, so we figured we'd include it. |
In the photo, Tittle is on his knees after a game, face bloodied. We've read that he was also suffering from broken ribs. The photo was taken after a loss in 1964, Tittle's last season. |
